Premio per Adele, U2, Coldplay ai Q Awards 2011, tenutisi a Londra. Tra i winners anche Queen e Noel Gallagher
Adele si conferma come fenomeno musicale del 2011 con i due premi appena vinti ai "Q Awards 2011". Stiamo parlando dei premi assegnati dal prestigioso mensile musicale britannico fondato nel 1986. La cerimonia si è tenuta lunedì 24 ottobre presso l'albergo Grosvenor House di Londra. La cantautrice britannica, assente perché ufficialmente indisposta, ha vinto nelle categorie Best Female Artist e Best Track con "Rolling In The Deep". I premi sono stati ritirati dal suo produttore Paul Epworth.
Gli U2 hanno ricevuto il "Greatest Act Of The Past 25 Years", per i 25 anni della rivista. Tra gli altri vincitori della serata figurano i Coldplay, che hanno trionfato in una della categorie più ambite, quella del famoso "Best Act In The World Today". Il Best Album è andato al cantautore statunitense Bon Iver - all'anagrafe Justin Vernon - per l'omonimo disco. Tra i premiati c'era anche Noel Gallagher, onorato come Q Icon.
I Queen hanno invece ricevuto il "Q HAll Of Fame". La leggendaria band britannica sarà protagonista anche il prossimo 6 novembre a Belfast, in occasione degli MTV EMA 2011, dove saranno decreati "Global Icon 2011".
